Our Story

Anything’s Pawsible - Animal Resource Center (APARC) was formed by Katherine Stewart and Miranda Lloyd in September of 2019 who work as co-directors and by spring of 2020 Evelyn Pillion joined APARC working as manager. All three women wholly embrace the phrase “DO GOOD RECKLESSLY” both in their actions and mentality. Katherine (Kat) is a former shelter manager for a municipal shelter in Ohio which handled countless cruelty cases, Miranda has volunteered with numerous rescues/shelters along with managing a large Facebook based community focused on reuniting lost and found animals with their owners; while Evelyn works as the manager of a large veterinary clinic in the area. Although they have seen many heart wrenching situations involving the mistreatment of animals all three still believe in the inherent good around them: their belief is that with community involvement, and compassion no problem is truly insurmountable, some issues may take longer to correct, but that does not mean that the situation cannot be changed if true effort is made to change it. So please do not let the possibility that someone is not as altruistic as yourself endanger your compassion - strive to do good recklessly!

Anything’s Pawsible - Animal Resource Center is unique not only because it is completely foster based, but because it is 100% volunteer operated meaning ALL donations are used for the care of the animals within the rescue. Although being foster based can be tricky, thanks to an amazing network of compassionate families APARC has been able to help vet and rehome over 400 animals, and hopes to continue helping even more with each year!

Our Practices

Anything’s Pawsible - Animal Resource Center or APARC as we often refer to ourselves, are a foster based 501c3 non-profit based in central Ohio. We take in owner surrenders, strays, although we typically help companion animals we have been known to help out in rehoming horses, chickens, turkeys, and even a few rabbits and fish; as well as offering a variety of community based programs designed for the animals of our community.

We believe in offering all animals in our rescue the best medical care that we can along with nurturing their mental health while within their foster homes; however, we do on occasion practice humane euthanasia if a quality of life is no longer maintainable, or if the animal is poses a danger to itself or those around it and it is not a choice we make lightly.
